I have been a passionate plant lover since I was a child - obsessed with seed catalogs, tending planter boxes, and making micro doll bridal bouquets.  As a young adult I apprenticed on multiple organic farms before eventually developing my own gardens, where I now grow an ever evolving list of flowers and perennial plants. Philo Flora was born out of my life long interest in floral design combined with my love of growing flowers.

My family and I live on a 10 acre homestead between the Mendocino Coast and the Anderson Valley where we caretake goats, chickens, and bees (and of course dogs and cats).  When not floral designing or gardening, I often am canning food for the winter, cooking, sewing clothes, or creating magical experiences for my kids.
